The car discovers that the car tire is flat halfway. This is one of the most common car failures. Most cars will have a spare tire. This is a standard feature of the car. Without a spare tire, the car cannot leave the factory.

It can be seen that the spare tire is of great significance to drivers, but the editor of Lefuju would like to ask all car friends, do you know how to change the spare tire?

Most people think that they will change it, but every program in it cannot be omitted, otherwise it will be very unsafe and may cause misfortune.

Safety warning:

Before working on your car, you will need to wear personal protective equipment such as goggles and gloves

The replacement parts are: spare tire. The required vehicle tools include: jack, tire wrench, warning sign; especially the warning sign, many drivers do not use it.

This is very wrong. If there are no warning signs on the highway, it is an extremely dangerous thing.

The specific operation is divided into 7 steps:

Step 1: Park the vehicle on a flat surface and ensure that the vehicle does not roll or tilt when using the jack.

Step 2: Pull on the handbrake, take out the spare tire and vehicle tools, and put down the parking warning sign. When setting up the triangle warning sign, the warning sign should be placed about 50-100 meters away from the direction of the oncoming vehicle. If it is on the highway, , it should be set at least about 150 meters in the direction of incoming traffic. If it is at night or in an environment with poor pipeline conditions, the distance between the triangle warning signs will be increased accordingly to ensure the safety of yourself and the road. Placing the spare tire under the vehicle chassis can prevent the danger caused by the vehicle tilting.

Step 3: Use the vehicle tire wrench to loosen the faulty wheel nut slightly in advance, but do not completely unscrew it. Then use a jack to lift the body. The best place to place the jack is between the chassis and the welded frame, because it is the strongest here. Focus vehicles will have support points marked on the lower edge of the vehicle, which can be easily touched by hand.

Step 4: Use a tire wrench to completely unscrew the tire nut, then remove the wheel, and place the faulty tire under the chassis of the vehicle to ensure that if the jack fails, the vehicle will not directly contact the ground and cause an accident.

Step 5: Install the spare wheel according to the hole position, and then use a tire wrench to tighten the fixing nut, still using a criss-cross method, and do not completely tighten the fixing nut.

Step 6: Next lower the jack and remove it, allowing the tire to rest naturally on the ground. Continue to use the tire wrench to fully tighten the retaining nut using a criss-cross pattern.

Step 7: Recover the faulty tires, vehicle tools and warning signs. After replacing the spare tire, start the vehicle at a low speed and do not let the vehicle speed exceed 80Km/h.

In addition, do not drive for a long time. Find a repair shop as soon as possible to repair the puncture or replace the spare tire with a new one. After all, the spare tire is only for temporary use.
