Reason 1: Circuit aging

After a period of use, the car's wires will age and the outer insulation layer will fall off. Circuit failure or poor wire contact will cause a short circuit, causing spontaneous combustion. Maintenance technician's prescription: Check the circuit regularly. If the wires have rubber aging, wire heating, etc., they should be repaired in time.

Reason 2: Incorrect circuit modification

After buying a new car, some car owners often install some things themselves, such as anti-theft devices, audio, etc. Some shop workers are unprofessional, do not analyze the circuit structure, do not consider the power of the circuit, lead the wires casually, do not install insurance, do not fix the wires, etc. These wrong operations will cause danger. Maintenance technician's prescription: try to change the circuit as little as possible. If you want to install it, be sure to find a skilled shop to do it.

Reason 3: Not cleaning for a long time

The sludge in the engine compartment prevents heat dissipation, causing the temperature to be too high, or the battery terminals are heated by impurities and oil stains, causing contact points to heat up and cause combustion. Maintenance technician's prescription: Check frequently and if the engine compartment or terminals are found to be dirty, clean them in time.

Reason 4: Oil line leakage

Since most oil circuits are made of rubber, aging of the rubber will cause cracks and cause gasoline leakage. Maintenance technician's prescription: Check the oil circuit regularly, replace it promptly if any problems are found, and keep the entire engine system neat and clean.

Reason 5: Static electricity causes fire

After refueling, the driver returns to his seat and rubs the seat to become charged, which may cause a fire during discharge. At the same time, if static electricity accumulates in the car to a certain extent due to some clothing, seat covers, etc., fires may also occur. Maintenance technician's prescription: Pay attention to discharge at ordinary times, such as buying a discharge rod, choosing seat covers or wearing clothes made of pure cotton, etc.

Reason 6: Smoking causes burning

After smoking, put the cigarette butt directly in the ashtray without extinguishing it, or put the lighter on the dashboard and expose it to the sun, causing it to explode and cause combustion. Maintenance technician's prescription: Smoking as little as possible in the car not only reduces hidden dangers, but is also beneficial to our health. Pay attention to the disposal of lighters and cigarette butts after smoking. It’s also important to note that canned items such as air fresheners or pesticides can also cause explosions.

Reason 7: Improper parking causing combustion

When parking, be sure to pay attention to whether there are flammable materials under the car, such as hay, dead branches, etc. After the vehicle has been driven for a long time, the temperature of the three-way catalytic converter increases, reaching 300~400 degrees Celsius. If there are flammable materials underneath the vehicle, it could cause the vehicle to catch fire. Maintenance technician's prescription: Check when parking to make sure there are no flammable objects under the car.

Reason 8: Place lighters and perfume on the dashboard

As the weather gets hotter, some flammable and explosive items are likely to be the culprits of your car's spontaneous combustion. Maintenance technician's prescription: Never put lighters, perfume and other items in your car.
